Armstrong Logistics Maintains Same-Role Same-Pay
Andy Tallis, Operations Director, commented today “As an equal opportunities employer we embrace the sharing of this information. We have always maintained the same position – any members of the Armstrong team performing a role are paid the same, regardless of gender. We shall continue to review our employment and promotion strategies and maintain our commitment to same role-same pay.”
When asked whether the results were disappointing Andy added, “the headline results don’t give the full picture as all quartiles are currently weighted towards men, despite our efforts to change this. We hope to be able to close this apparent gender gap over the coming year, and continue to pride ourselves on our team’s activities promoting from within regardless of gender”.
